Töre Website
2022-2023
Töre is a locality situated in Kalix Municipality, Norrbotten County, Sweden with 1,099 inhabitants as of 2010.
The city's proximity to Töre Harbour, which marks the northernmost tip of the Gulf of Bothnia/Baltic Sea, contributes to its attractiveness. Every year, hundreds of boats from countries such as Germany, Switzerland, England, and southern Sweden round the Yellow Buoy, making it a popular tourist destination.
Töre welcomes tourists exclusively during the annual MidsummerSail Festival. In preparation for this event, the website underwent a comprehensive update, accompanied by the creation of informative brochures to assist guests in navigating the area. Emphasizing the village's key attraction — its strategic location — the main page is thoughtfully centered around this theme. A distinctive feature of the website is the deliberate choice to showcase the advantages of relocating to Töre, thereby enticing visitors to consider an extended stay.
As I am a non-professional UI/UX designer, part of my job was to create the concept, style, and art direction in collaboration with the front-end developer
The next page is about the festival itself, with this year's program, map, and gallery from previous years.
We have also changed the tourism page where you can find the most interesting places to visit in the vicinity of the commune and not only.
This is an infographic from the homepage, where you can clearly understand why Tore is an attractive place to live in comparison to other places.
